Then I took an old scrap piece of 3/4 inch aluminum and started drilling. The notch in the side fits the starter quite nicely.
Here is the back with the locating bushings for the tranny installed
Then a piece has to be cut out of the tranny for the starter to be mounted since my engine is not a flat six.
Nothing worse than having to take a permanent chunk out of a porsche transmission....ouch that hurts.
