4. Make a fearless inventory of your daily television viewing patterns.

5. Admit to yourself that watching a full season of "I'm a Celebrity, Get me out of here" was the low point of your life.

6. Develop a strict schedule of scripted programs you will watch with religious fervor.

7. Write to television executives asking them to start programming more scripted television shows.

8. Make a list of scripted television shows you have neglected since you began your reality television addiction.

9. Rent all missed episodes of above television shows until you are caught up to the current season.

10. Have your cable company stop broadcasting FOX into your home.

11. Seek through prayer the ability to overcome the appeal of Survivor: All Stars.

12. Convince others to stop watching reality television as well to promote conversation about scripted shows and prevent a relapse.
