| Welcome to my humble little phantom fan website! This is the disclaimer section of the site. Where I tell you somethings before you start to look through it. 1. I obviously don't claim to have rights on the phantom or wish to infringe on those that do.This is a fannish labor of love from which I only receive joy, not money. 2. I have been a Phantom fan for 13 years now. I am a fan of all things having to do with the phantom, (the movies, the books, the musicals,) but I have a special fondness for: The original Gaston Leroux novel, the Susan Kay novel, the Lon Chaney version, and the Charles Dance version. My Erik is a mish-mash all of these, stirred in a pot of my experiences and poured into a mold of an Erik who is all his own self. I see the different Phantoms as different aspects of the same one. Mine usually takes the form of what I like to think of as Erik, the living dead boy. Erik in his trickster aspect. The child inside of the man who is the sense of humor that shines through the darkness, loves magic and legerdemain. But in the end I love all of them. 3. I am eccentric fool, and a goofy geek who is very silly and couldn’t work that "dark angel of the night" crap to save her soul. 4. I happen to be a total sucker for that "dark angel of the night" crap. 5. I am FULLY aware of the adult and serious subject matter of the Phantom of the Opera. Just because I am kind of silly and make a lot of jokes, does not mean I will forget this. And a times on this page in the future I won't pull my punches if I decide to talk about it. I am also upgrading my personal rating on this page to a PG-13/R to cover my ass if anyone decides to take any of this too seriously. May you enjoy yourself here, find something that makes you smile, makes you think and most of all may the angel of magic, music, and death, all in one, watch over you.... |
