Other "Phantoms"
The Strange places The Phantom has showed up.
Phantom themed TV Episodes:

Scooby Doo
"Don't Fool with the Phantom"
A ghostly musician seeks revenge of those who ruined his career. I've seen this episode. Very funny, oh-so-seventies! Definatly based on the Phantom, but nothing like it. (More based on The Phantom of Paradise) An awful sequence with the guest star singing in the basement "Pretty Mary Sunshine!"
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle:
"Mayhem, maestro, please"
There's a rumour that a local theater is being haunted. When the turtles get there, a young man named Eric, asks the turtles for help fixing his pipeorgan. In another attept as being scary Shredder shows up an pretends to be the phantom to scare everyne away. They discover that Shred-head is the phantom, but who was the other phantom? Turns out Eric, is really an alien named "Erk." It alsoturns out that the pipeorgan is a spaceship that belongs to "Erk" the alien. Shredder wanted it's power to lift the tecnodrome. Cute episode.
Highlander: The series
"Beast Below"
A murder brings Mcleod to the Paris Opera house to investigate. A monsterous immortal is stupidly in love with a aging manipulitive diva, and is going after her rival.  Horribly pointless use of POTO plotline, boring villian and painful ending. Not the best the Highlander series has to offer. Could have been way cooler.

Wish Bone
"Pantin' at the Opera."
The cutest coolest kids show since Fraggle Rock brings you many classic tales in it's time, but the episode was extra special treat for this Wish Bone fan. With Wish Bone himself as the cutest most Likeable Raoul in history!
Songs:

Artist-Me First and The Gimme Gimmes
A thrash punk cover of the theme song from the musical, it is very amusing if you have a good sense of humor. Cheers me up everytime I hear it.

Artist- Iced Earth
[Female:] "I feel you, from beyond the walls you speak to me."
[Male:] "Christine my love Paris now will worship you."

Artist- Bob Dylan
"Across the street they've nailed the curtains, they're getting ready for the feast, The Phantom of the Opera a perfect image of a priest.."

And apparently rappers love Erik, cause the next two references I found have come from rap songs:

Artist- Wutang's RZA

"We on some Phantom of the Opera shit, It's the Gothic shit, as I produce the water-proof mask, you never ask, "Who's the man, behind the red mask?"

Artist- Cappadonna

"Tony win an Oscar, Legendary rah, wicked Phantom of the Opera Blow fish the movie's over, die with a slow kiss tounge kiss the neck."
Live:

Beetlejuices Rock n' Roll Show at Unversal Studios.
I'm pretty sure it's not around anymore, but oy it sure was in 1992! My friend Karol gave me a tape of it. The Phantom sings a version of "Great balls of Fire," in a purple velvet dress coat. (One of the lines is "I put on my cape and I polished my mask.Went to the nightclub where the action is fast.") While he had bad Elvis like voice and a cornball factor of 10, it did however have "Phantom pelvis shaking action," Beetlejuice actually calling him "Erik" and an answer to my long standing query about how Erik would look doing the swim. Answer: Very silly.
