CUBE JACKED CITY Written By: Justin Smith & John Kocholek Directed By: Justin Smith Starring: John Kocholek / Bill Hader /                          Michael Mckee "In a time-share condo, Life is good, Life is cheap, Life.....is a luxury" A weary traveler arrives at his new home only to find it already occupied by a mysterious puzzle cube. He begins to play with it and before he notices what's happening, he becomes one of the walking dead. Now, after leaving his apartment because of the smell, and subsequently getting locked out. He must embark on a journey to solve this cube and get home before darkness falls.

CJC was a video project we did at the Art Institute of Phoenix.  It was for a project that was to be no longer than 3 mins and ended up running 13.  It spawned a small following (our friends) and was showcased in the Video Festival we had. It also had a year run on www.ifilm.com but is no longer up. But hey!!  It Rocked!  Good times were had by all in the movie. Fun Memories: The night before the first shoot we stayed up late and watched Dawn of the Dead to get ourselves pumped.  When I woke in the morning and could not get a hold of John, I worried that he over slept.  But to my surprise and admiration, I went outside for air and saw him come around the corner already in costume and up for hours!

Behind the Scenes

This was and interesting shoot. It marked the first time Bill, John, myself and everyone else worked together. It was the start of somthing great.
