As the guests arrived, many went straight to see Dan’s collection.
Verne Langdon's ZOMBIE  -   R.I.P.?
Dan's is an awesome assembly of rare stills, classic masks,
one-of-a-kind props and monster toys.
Others hung out by the pool, while Verne held court.
When Everyone was there Verne & I presented Dan with his ZOMBIE.
The presentation dovetailed nicely into our inevitable smashing of the ZOMBIE mold.
There was resistance from Dante Renta.
Verne and I have held true to our promise that when 30 ZOMBIE masks were sold
we would destroy the mold to insure the integrity of the edition.
I was surprised to learn that the “Zombified” cake was to be my birthday cake!
Everyone got a piece of the monster of their choice.
Then back to the wonders in Dan’s collection....
...and the pleasant company of friends.

(I only wish Henry Alverez, and Darren Perks could have been there too!)
There was even a long-lost reunion ...of sorts
Dan re-unites Verne with the Mummy figure that
Verne fabricated for famous Wallich's Music City

Karloff and his Friends" LP record album.

Dan with Verne and his Mummy.
It became apparent that the reason Post Studios made the
classic monster series of masks in the first place is that
Verne shared the same love of monsters as we collectors.
I'd like to thank Dan Roebuck, Dante Renta, and Verne Langdon for the photos of this event.
