Hao Zhi Hua - Beijing Wushu Team
Hao Zhi Hua started training at the Beijing Sports Academy at the age of nine under the instruction of Wu Bin, director of the Beijing Institute for Wushu Research and a pioneer of wushu in modern China. For fifteen years she competed as a member of the world-renowned Beijing Wushu Team, winning several championships and receiving the title of National All-Around Champion three years in a row.

Hao Zhi Hua has the unique distinction of being the only person in China’s history to have won six gold and one silver medal in a single national competition, a record that has yet to be broken. In addition she is one of only two wushu athletes on the Beijing Wushu Team to receive the "10 Best Athletes in China" award (the other being fellow Beijing Wushu Team member Li Lian Jie). In total, she has accumulated over 80 gold, silver and bronze medals during her competitive career.

In addition to coach Wu Bin, Hao Zhi Hua trained under coach Li Jun Feng and studied Yang-Style Taiji under master Yang Zhenduo.

She is proficient in Chang Chuan (Long Style Boxing), Yang and Chen-Style Taiji, Sabre, Sword, Cudgel, Spear, Eagle Claw, Bagua Zhang, Snake Boxing, Pigua Chuan (Armswing Boxing), Double Hook Swords, 3-Section Cudgel, and is well known for her outstanding ability with Double Sabre.
