| Head Coach: Wu Bin - Beijing Wushu Team |
| Wu Bin, born in the Zhejiang Province, graduated from the Wushu Speciality of the Sports Faculty of the Beijing Physical Education Institute in 1963 and became a Wushu teacher in the Beijing Sports School. In 1974, he was assigned the task of organising the Beijing Wushu Team and coached it for 10 years. As head coach of the Beijing Team, Wu Bin led the team to winning the National Team Championship 10 times! In 1984, the State Physical Culture & Sports Commission the Honourable Sports Medal, and the first prize for his outstanding contributions to the Beijing Sports Committee. During his long and successful career Wu Bin has visited the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, Europe and the Soviet Union, giving lectures on Wushu. Wu Bin is also the president of the Technical Committee of the Wushu Federation of Asia and Director of the Teaching & Research Section of Section of the Wushu Research Institute of China. |
