Hebrew Christian believers [and mixed couples] always existed in Jerusalem and throughout the world.  In the State of Israel, Eastern Orthodox believers from different countries and various educational backgrounds are allowed by the State Law Art. 140/1977.  In full respect of this Law of Freedom of Speech and Conscience [Dat in Hebrew],  this website is an open space for dialogue, spiritual assistance, inculturation into the Israeli and Mid-Eastern plural society. This is the website of Protopresbyter Alexander Winogradsky, Head of the Orthodox Communities within the Israeli Society of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. This site is intended to provide information about Eastern Orthodox Christianity and related subjects as well as glimpses into daily life of Orthodox Christians living in the Holy Land, in Israel. We hope you find this site interesting and informative.  Please bear with us as we build and develop the website, and return frequently to see new additions.
