-12.17.02- Simply Amazing

If you love video game music, you have to check out this site. If you know about this already, well surely you can understand one's enthusiasm for posting a link to it for the first day.

For all the rumour mongers tommorow might be your big day. According to CBS Marketwatch Nintendo might possibly announce it is buying Capcom. What this means for the future of the Gamecube, and Capcom's presence on other consoles remains to be seen, but mergers and buyouts seem to be the flavor of the month.

Other merger news may involve Vivendi Universal as well. They are reportedly wanting to dump their gaming division (again) to the highest bidder. The division includes such notable names as Sierra and Blizzard. Interested parties are said to include Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Sony, and Activision.

If your all giddy about the Summoner title coming to Gamecube we talked about a while back then be sure to note that the game is known as Summoner: A Goddess Reborn. Dammit, I'll have to change the mural I painted on my wall now.

If your still waiting for that christmas console price drop, well I hate to tell you this but it's not gonna happen. When will it? Well, if patience is a virtue then you'll only have to hold out until around the time of E3 next year, which is about the middle of May. Apparently recent gaming exec comments led on that people can expect to see a $50 drop in consoles accross the board, making the PS2 and Xbox a whole $149 and the Gamecube chiming in at a whopping $99. Gonna have to get me one of them.

Lastly for those Mana fans who were stoked on news of the new Gameboy Advance incarnation you'll like to know that Square has launched it's official site for the game. What you won't like is that so far it consists of nothing but a big picture you've probably already seen. But soon it may have more, so go bookmark it right now!
