The biggest story of the day comes not from our usual realm of coverage (consoles), but from the "outside" world of PC games. BUT since there's not much to talk about... An english version of Ys Eternal is on it's way to US PC's. First released a few years ago in asian countries only, the game is a rerelease of Falcom's two classic TurboGrafx 16 titles, Ys I and Ys II. Reputable online game importer NCS reports that only about 10,000 units will be produced, so anyone who's interested should check out their site.

Sub Rebellion, a submarine action game, will be released in the US. Players control "Chronos", an expiremental sub created by "The Alliance", which is one of several warring factions vying for power in a post-apocalypitc future. Combining both combat and treasue hunting elements, the game features a wide variety of objectives as well as the ability to upgrade your sub as the game progresses. Sub Rebellion is set for release in October 2002 for the PS2.
