8.28.02 - Hi, my daughter's name is Turok

We've finally got a new "Zany Promotion of the Day"! In a follow up to their idiot "My Name Is Turok" contest, the marketing gurus over at Acclaim have announced that a "lucky" couple who has their child on Labor Day will be given $10,000 to name their child Turok for one year. The cash will go to the first couple to contact the company, but they must have proof of the child's birthdate. All hail Acclaim, masters of marketing. Ugh.
