The McLeland kids and I goofing around...
Here you see me in my shaved head phase with my 2nd cousins Ryan, Eric and Kyle. Eric is the eldest. My cousin Marsha and her husband Mike spent a few years in South Africa doing missionary work. As I recall all 3 of the boys were born there. The McLelands had come to visit in early 2000 so I went to meet them where they were staying. We ordered Chinese food, walked to a nearby school yard so the boys could play, talked and then I took the boys to see Toy Story 2. A really cool movie and these guys were SO well behaved! Afterwards we returned and the boys played while the adults played Ka-Chang, a card game they learned in S. Africa sometimes called Gravel-suckers and Kings. Lots of fun! If you ask I'll see about putting the rules online! The shirt you see is one my sister and 3 year old niece, Shannon, made for me. Lots of hand and feetprints with words like "cuddles", "kisses", "hugs", and more. I wear it with pride almost every week. :)
