Among MLM companies I've been involved with this one is probably the worst. I was approached by a co-worker in Milwaukee about IMTC. She sat me down with her upline, they did their presentation, and not only did I sign up but I signed up twice! IMTC allowed you to buy multiple distributorships, one under the other, as many as you could afford. This means you would earn off yourself in your downline. I had enough cash to buy enough products for two distributorships. The only catch was you couldn't order just anything - you had to order products that were approved for your initial order. I ordered a lot of items and was having trouble finding things I wanted, so I bought a bunch of gifts, but I still hadn't picked out enough. So my sponsor, Robin Ruby, suggested that I order some products that were not approved for an initial order, saying that IMTC would probably let the order go through anyways.
Unfortunately, she was wrong, and I got the products that were approved. They wanted to know what products I wanted instead of the non-approved ones. When I finally tried to contact IMTC I couldn't find them. The number listed for them was for another company. As near as I can tell they are out of business and I'm out several hundred dollars, not to mention the commissions I should've gotten from my downline distributorship. I tried using Qwestdex.com to find them anywhere in California and there is no listing for them. Chalk it up to experience!
