Meet Pastor Keith & Bev Pastor Keith was born and raised in the South Bend, IN area, attending South Bend First Church of the Nazarene. A 1983 graduate from Olivet Nazarene University, Keith sensed God's leading him into the ministry. In 1985 he relocated to Kansas City, KS to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary. Graduating in 1991, he was called to serve his home church as Family Life Minister. Keith began his service as pastor in December 1992, was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1994. In addition to pastoring, Keith has also written several one-act plays which are available for use upon request. Bev was born and raised in Kansas City, MO area, attending Southwood Church of the Nazarene in Raytown, MO. After attending Northwest Nazarene University for a short time, she returned home and was employed at the Nazarene Publishing House. During the next several years she was a busy pastor's wife and mother of three. Returning to school later in life, Bev is a Registered Nurse. She has worked in Pediatrics, Intensive Care, and a Residential Treatment Center for adolescent girls.  and is presently working in Information Management as a Application Analyst Lead. In June 2004 she received her District Preacher's License and is pursing further education in Theology and Counseling. Bev has spoken at Single's Events and is available to speak as God provides the opportunity. Pastor Keith and Bev are well acquainted with many of life's hurts. Their journey has taken them through the life-threatening illness of a daughter, ultimately involving a liver transplant and Chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. To God's glory, Heather is a "living miracle." Also, both Keith and Bev have experienced the loss of their first spouses through divorce. Through a "meeting miracle" that brought them together from halfway across the country, a blended family which includes five children was created. Their unique life history enhances their ministry to a hurting world seeking hope which is found only in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (Emphasized Bible) Therefore if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ, the Messiah, he is (a new creature altogether,) a new creation; the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself (received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself) and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation--that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him. |
