1. Why weren't the 9/11 attacks prevented by the U.S. Government?
2. Who benefitted from the attacks financially?
3. Who had the power to cover up U.S. Government foreknowledge of the attacks?
We believe that if these questions are not fully answered by an independent commission, our Democracy may be in grave danger from men in our own government.
We are American citizens like you. And, like you, we cherish our freedoms, which have been stripped away by the hasty passage of the USA Patriot Act into law by Congress. Though that law was purportedly enacted to combat terrorism, the Patriot Act, instead combats the freedoms of Democracy.
We believe that stripping away the very freedoms American soldiers have fought and died for in many wars dishonors the memory of these soldiers and the memory of the 3,000 Americans who died as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
