Lemonade like Applebees

1 Quart water
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup FRESH lemon juice
Sparkling Water (not tonic water, like Perrier)
Fresh fruit optional

Mix first three togther.
Fill a tall glass 2/3 to 3/4 with Lemon mixture
then fill with sparkling water.
Optional: puree some fruit raspberries, strawberries, etc)
with a little superfine or powdered sugar and put that in
the glass before adding the the lemonade and water



Kool-Aid Punch

1 packet cherry kool-aid
1 packet strawberry kool-aid
2 c sugar
6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate
6 oz frozen lemonade concentrate
3 qts water
1 qt gingerale

Combine all in punch bowl. If not serving immediately,
add the gingerale just before serving.



Tahitian Punch

1 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice, chilled
1 can (46 oz.) orange-grapefruit juice, chilled
2 quarts carbonated lemon-lime beverage, chilled (7-Up)
1 pint lemon or lime sherbet may be added if desired

In large punch bowl stir together juices
and carbonated beverage. Spoon sherbet into bowl.
Serve immediately.
Citrus slices and a sprig of mint garnish this punch.
38 servings (about one half cup each)



Orange Julius

1 - 6 oz. can frozen orange juice
1 cup milk 1 cup water 1/4 cup sugar (or less to taste)
1 tsp. vanilla 5 - 6 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender.
Blend about 30 seconds. Serve.



Lemon Almond Tea

1-1/2 quarts water
1-1/4 cups sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Rind of 1 lemon
1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade
2 cups strong tea
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon almond extract
6 Cups Strong Tea
1 Cup Sugar (while Tea is hot)
1 can Frozen Lemonade
4 cans water
2 1/2 Cups Pineapple Juice

Mix together, then freeze, then serve as a slush



Orange Freeze like the Hard Rock Cafe

2 cups orange sherbet or sorbet
1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup milk
1 sprig fresh spearmint

Put the sherbet, juice, and milk in a blender
and blend for 15 seconds or just until the sherbet
is smooth. You may have to stop the blender and stir
the sherbet up a bit to help it combine.

Pour the orange freeze into a tall, chilled glass.
Place a sprig of fresh spearmint in the top and
serve immediately.

Serves 1 as a dessert or beverage.



BASKIN ROBBINS MOCHA BLAST

1 scoop vanilla ice cream
1 to 2 Tablespoons strong coffee concentrate
2 teaspoons chocolate syrup
1/2 to 3/4 cup of ice A dash of milk;
(but don't overdo it-you can always add more later)

Blend on high in blender, until smooth.
Makes 1 drink



Andrew and Daniel's Fruit Smoothie

12 ice cubes
1 cup of vanilla ice cream
½ - 1 cup plums or strawberries cut into pieces.
1 small banana
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons sugar



Cappuccino Mix

1 (8-quart) package nonfat dry milk
1 (16-ounce) jar powdered nondairy creamer
1 (1-pound) package instant cocoa mix
1 (8-ounce) jar instant coffee
1 (1-pound) package confectioners sugar

Combine dry milk powder, nondairy creamer, cocoa mix,
instant coffee powder and confectioners sugar in large container;
mix well. Spoon 1/4 cup mixture into each mug. Add 1 cup
boiling water, stirring until dissolved.
Store mix in covered container. Yield: 32 servings.
This can be made and given as a gift.



CHRISTMAS PUNCH

2 cups boiling water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. each nutmeg and salt
1 cup cold water
2 (16 oz.) bottles cranberry juice cocktail
1 (16 oz.) frozen pineapple juice concentrate
2 (12 oz.) bottle carbonated water

Pour boiling water over sugar and spices;
stir to dissolve. Chill thoroughly. To serve,
combine with remaining ingredients
in punch bowl. Add ice ring
