Cheese Garlic Biscuits

2 Cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup margarine or butter

Mix the Bisquick, milk and cheese to make a soft dough.
Beat vigorously for 30 seconds with a wooden spoon.
Drop by spoonfuls onto an un-greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes. Until golden brown.
While the biscuits are baking. Mix the butter and garlic
powder together. Brush the mixture over the biscuits
after removing from the oven but before removing
the biscuits from the sheet.

Mexican Corn Bread

1 8ounce can whole kernel corn,
1 stick butter melted
1 8 ounce can cream corn
8 ounces sour cream
2 eggs
1 cup shredded cheese
4 ounce can diced green chilies
1 box jiffy corn bread mix

Mix all ingredients. Our into 2 quart baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Optionl: As soon as you take the bread out,
sprinkle with grated cheese.

Zucchini-Cheese Biscuit Roll-Ups

1 cup shredded zucchini
½ cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons snipped parsley
¼ teaspoon marjoram
¼ teaspoon dried dill weed
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
½ cup cold water
¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook and stir zucchini and onion
in margarine until tender. Stir in parsley, marjoram and
dill weed. Set aside. Mix baking mix and water until soft
dough forms. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Gently smooth dough
into ball on a floured cloth-covered board. Knead 5 times.
Roll dough into a rectangle, 15x9 inches. Sprinkle with
zucchini mixture. Roll up tightly, beginning at the 15 side.
Cut into 12 ¼ slices.Seal ends by pinching. Place down on
cut sides. Bake until golden brown, 15-20 minutes.
Remove and Serve immediately.

Orange Juice Muffins

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoon of grated orange peel
2/3 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease bottom only of 12 muffin cups.
Or line with paper cups. Mix baking mix, 2 tablespoon sugar,
egg, orange peel, and orange juice. Beat until smooth. Pour into
cups. Filling each cup 2/3 full. Mix remaining ingredients and
sprinkle about ½ teaspoon over top of each muffin.
Bake 15 minutes makes 1 dozen

Olive Garden Breadsticks

1 Loaf unfrozen bread thaw in bowl at room temp
Pam Cooking Spray
Garlic powder
Dry oregano leaf rub to a powder between fingers
When dough is soft enough to knead, spray your fingers with
Pam or oil and knead just until you can shape into cigar
sized pieces (about 8 to 10). Place these 3" apart on Pam
sprayed cookie sheets. Let rise in warm place until doubled
about 1 1/2 hours. Then holding Pam about 8" from sticks,
lightly spray top of each and then dust with garlic powder
and oregano. Bake at 375~ about 20 to 25 minutes or until
golden brown. Cool in pan on rack to serve within a day or two.
