Welcome to the FIRST Royal Flying Doctor Service (virtual).
Some may know of a previous VA called "vAESA". This was scrapped due to the combination of the RFDS and NSW Air Ambulence sections.
It is now a whole service flying Beech 200C King Air's, Pilatus PC-12's and Cessna 404 Titans.
RFDSv is tasked to provide virtual aeromedical services to vAustralia no matter what the weather is like, runway condition (if any) or the patients condition.
If you like what you see before you please visit the "pilot application" page and apply for a virtual aeromedical job with RFDSv.

11/07/03: RFDSv has provisionally been affiliated with VATPAC. In the very near future the affiliation will become full with VATPAC and VATSIM.
07/07/03: Due to the Cessna 404 fleet being retired, all pilots on the Cessna 404 aircraft will be promoted to second officer flying the Pilatus PC-12.
06/07/03: A brand new King Air has been spotted in Merimbula today during two REX flights. It replaced VH-AMS which crashed at Coffs Harbour in May. The new registration is VH-MSH and it includes a brand new paint scheme and only has a Total Time of 150 hours...VERY NICE!
