This appointment was the first of our every week appointments. I'm still measuring ahead of schedule (38 weeks). Dr. Will didn't say anything about the ultrasound but he did do an internal exam and basically said that Ashton won't be arriving anytime soon. He is still head down though and pretty low. Ashton's heart rate was 144 so it's right about where it has been. Dr. Will also did the Group B Strep swab. If it comes back positive I'll have to have antibiotics given to me at the hospital before I deliver. Our next appointment is August 12. |

Nothing exciting to report. I'm still measuring big, Ashton's heart rate was 144. Doctor said everything looks good. Next appointment is August 19. |

Another uneventful appointment. We did find out that I tested Group B Strep positive. It shouldn't be a problem though, I'll just have to get to the hospital to have an IV put in to get antibiotics at least 4 hours before Ashton is born. I'm measuring 41 weeks so apparently Ashton hasn't dropped yet (the doctor thought I had before he measured me though). Ashton's heart rate was 144 and everything is still looking good. This week Ashton is considered full term, now if only we could get some contractions going! Next appointment August 26! |
