THE LAST CUP Robert H. Gilbert, Jr. July 20, 2003 |
I wonder how many cups of coffee we have shared together? I’m not sure, except each cup was filled with memories. Some with smiles, some with tears As we strolled down memory lane. Each cafe with each cup of coffee holds it’s own cup of memory The coffee may spill, but the cup will never run over with memories As our lives together comes to the crossroads to where we say goodbye, the memories will never end I will gladly share our memories with others, till my journey in life is at it’s end. One Last Cup of Coffee, it won’t matter if it’s hot or cold Just one more cup together, just one more cup for the road. Thanks for the Cup of memories The Last Cup is one cup to go. |
