Larry

Have peace and comfort in knowing

Larry has gone to a better place.

He's gone to live in his mansion,

Which transcends time and space.

He has gone to be with his Master,

His Saviour, and his Lord.

He's amongst the great congregation;

He's gone to claim his reward.

"Well done thou good and faithful servant,

My child and very dear friend",

Larry's Jesus would hug him and say,

And all broken hearts will mend.

Larry loved his Lord and Saviour;

It had shown much in his life.

He loved very much; his children,

And deeply loved his wife.

Larry is not in a sad place.

He is in a place, cheery and bright!

Awed in God's presence and majesty,

And the radiant glory of God's light.

He's there praising our loving Master,

The One who sits on the throne.

Our Jesus went to the cross in love,

He died to buy back His own.

Oh, how I wish we could be with Larry;

Elated and praising the Lord.

Larry is happiest when praising his God.

Our God is truly adored.

Though Larry may not have been perfect,

Our God is righteous and just;

For Larry had accepted God's provision,

Jesus' sin covering blood, which is a must.

You see God hath provided the Lamb,

And for us the Lamb was slain.

After accepting the works of Jesus,

Our sins; they do not remain.

For our works are as filthy rags,

And we could never make things right,

But God in His great love for us,

Gives us hope for a future so bright.

Jesus shed His blood for our atonement,

His blood can wash away our sins.

He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Only He could make amends.

Larry confessed, "Jesus is Lord."

The Resurrection; he believed in his heart.

God did everything else necessary,

But in this, Larry did his part.

Oh, Larry did other works in his life,

But by them, he could not be saved.

He did them because of what Jesus had done.

For Larry had already been saved.
