Despite being picked out of position on the wing, Daffyd always performs well. Strong and quick, easily one of the best Welsh backs. When he plays in the centre at club level, he's even better. In my opinion he could be the surprise test cap because of his ability to break the line of defence and distribution skills, all so vital in a tight match. Daffyd is popular with Henry, even though he insists on picking him out of position. Unlikely to force his way into the centres on this tour, but an excellent addition to the squad.
