Interesting Wright Bros. Trivia
The Wright Brothers were the first to treat the propeller as an airfoil much like the wings. A concept which is still used to this day.

Although the Wright Brothers were not the first to build or use the wind tunnel,  they did use the data they got from their wind tunnel to REFUTE some very important aeronautical data of their day. They found alot of Otto Lilienthal's data to be incorrect

The Wright Brothers were astute observers of natures aviators, birds.
