From Old Noarlunga to the sea, the river meanders across the river flats. The water here is brackish, and there are many spots where fishermen line the banks.
The final reach of the river, at Port Noarlunga, before it turns west along the cliffline and emptys into Gulf St Vincent. We walked along the sandhills to the river mouth.
