 Arvlee Broughton was my husband's grandfather,
1882 - February 9, 1060. He was married to
Myrtle Downey, 1889 - July 25, 1982. When they
were married is unknown. Arvlee and Myrtle are buried
in Pleasureville Low-Dutch Cemetery, Henry County.
Arlvee and Myrtle had the following children:
*Ellie Broughton, January 2, 1908 - May 5, 1959,
she married Elmer Lee Bramblett. They have a son that
I know of, his name is Kenneth, born December 5, 1943.
*Roberta Broughton, born October 6, 1932,
she married Charles Moore. Their children are:
George Moore, Brenda Moore and Ella Moore.
*Albert Broughton, September 14, 1919 - September 7, 1980,
*MaryTom Broughton, born September 27, 1921,
she married Clarence Craigmyle. Their children are:
Patsy Jean Craigmyle, born August 21, 1942,
Dorris Lane Craigmyle, June 21, 1945,
Clarence E Craigmyle, September 24, 1947,
Janie M Craigmyle, born August 18, 1953,
Barney D Craigmyle, born September 22, 1959.
*Matt Broughton, July 4, 1924 - December 11, 1994,
he married Lori Thompson. Their children are:
Ronnie E Broughton, born Septemeber 23, 1949,
Thomas Eugene Broughton, born May 12, 1948,
Barbara Daloris Broughton, born February 10, 1951,
Charlette F Broughton, born June 10, 1954.
*Robert Broughton, July 25, 1927 - August 6, 1988,
he married Tracy R. Coppersmith. Thier children are:
Donald R Broughton, born August 28, 1949?,
Robert D Broughton, born April 29, 1949?
*Effie Lee Broughton, January 20, 1930 - October 14, 2000
she married James Russell Hammons.
Most of the information here was given to me by other family
members. I haven't had alot of time to research this side of the
the family. There are only two children of Arvlee and Myrtle
still living, one I've asked questions, the other I have never
met and my husband doesn't have contact with. Both live in Kentucky
so the information has been scares so far, but as soon as I get
more time I will be searching again. If anyone can help in my search
