After graduation and the summer following I enrolled at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia to pursue a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER). While there I was a member of the GC varsity gymnastic team and Phi Mu Sorority.

Deciding that I was 'in love', I transferred to an Atlanta area business college where I studied and became a legal Secretary. A few months after graduting I married. What a mistake! This union lasted barely a year. Needing to get away from everything I went to work for an oil construction company overseas in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was there I met the love of my life. Not wanting to make another mistake I made sure he was the 'right' one. We waited nearly 3 years to marry.

Since we married we have lived all over.....the U.S. and the world...California, Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, Singapore, Indonesia to name a few. In 1983 we celebrated the birth of our first daughter, Amanda Leigh, she was followed in 1985 by her little sister, Morgan Marie. We have since settled on our family farm in Mississippi, where we breed/train/show Quarter Horses. We will celebrate our 20th anniversary in January 2001.

Until recently I was the office manager for a Hospice in Slidell, LA. Decided to take some time off, so have been bumming around the farm, working with the horse, bush hogging, disking, fertilizing and planting, repairing fences, etc.
