My Ackward Social Life

I have many acquaintances, associates, and friends. I wouldn't say it is hard to become my friend, but I will say there are qualities I look for in a friend. There are also requirements in being an aquaintance and an associate. Oh, please don't think I'm this conceited female, cause I'm far from that. I just don't trust people very easily, so I put them in there own different groups.

~~>An ACQUAINTANCE:
  1. Rarely calls to say "What's Up"
  2. Never really there when I need a helping hand
  3. Only a person seen on occasion
  4. I barely remember their names, just a person I know by face
  5. Is just a "HI! - BYE!" person

~~>An Associate:
  1. Has known and kicked back with me for more than 3 months, but less than a year
  2. Is invited to most if the gatherings I hold
  3. Takes the time to call me more than once in a blue moon
  4. Sits and has conversations with me
  5. There for me when I need someone to lean on
  6. Is a "Hello! How are you?" person

Knows some (if not all) of my personal issues
  • Has known me for more than a year or so
  • I see on a regular basis
  • #1 on my list of people to invite to roll with me to a kick back/party
  • Can pretty much read me like a book
  • Can always help me out when I need advice about anything
