The Story
The origins of The Rhythm Sensation can be traced back to its Director, Brian Tucker. Brian Tucker began his clogging career back in 1990, 2 months later, he had his first group. He then went on to be a successful dancer with the Trailblazers from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Brian moved to Michigan in August of 2001. He got in touch with Jennifer Murton, Instructor of Clogging Sensation, a local group from Jackson that clogs just for fun. In October of 2001, Brian Tucker paid a visit to our class to recruit dancers for what was to be his very own competition team, something he always wanted.
In November of the same year, The Rhythm Sensation was born. With Brian Tucker as the director, the group worked hard on an amateur open and standing line. By May of 2002, we went to our first competition. This was the only the beginning of what was yet to come.
