2000 The AMIEL and SMD issues with PTE and Euro value printing ( Expo 98 , Dinossáurios and Museu das Comunicações )
In the 13 th March 2000 the SMD and AMIEL ( these last ones in the 22 nd March 2000 ) machines had started to print the values simultanealy in Euros and in PTE . That measure give originy to the apearence of three more ATM´s issues : the AMIEL and SMD Expo 98 , Dinosaurs , Museu das Comunicações issues with the values printed in Euro and in PTE .
The standart values of these new ATM´s were : 50 ; 85 ; 90 ; 100 ; 140 PTE and the Correio Azul values of 85 ( national ) and 350 ( international ) PTE´s . For these issues , no official F.D.C. or souvenir whore prepared .
Note that the Museu das Comunicações and Expo 98 were not sold by the portuguese post . They are not mentioned in the list of philatelic material available for sale . These ATM´s that are here in exibition whore earn from machines that incidently whore using that recharche paper . This shows the chaos in that organization regarding to ATM policy .
The printing looks very identical in both machines , but the Euro symbol is diferent and the characters are also lightly diferent . For example , the SMD printing digits are rounder , while in the AMIEL printing the digits are closer . The main diference and the easyar way to identify both pritings is the Euro symbol . The Euro symbol in the SMD printing is more open than in the AMIEL printing ( where it is closer ) .
The receipt for these ATM´s issues were exacly identical to the others of the previoss ATM issues but with the value also mentioned in Euros .

Some of these issues had appear with the printing value in black and red colors .

Like in the other ATM issues it was possible to obtain some errors and varieties like double printings , missing numbers and many others .

Another interesting error was that some ATM´s of 90 PTE value ( that correspond to 0,45 Euro ) could also be obtain with the 0,42 Euro value , also with the 90 PTE value .
