Honorio stopped by. Michael helped him adjust his sights on his Crosman 1377 and Lanny coached him into the center. Joe shot some rounds (I heard he was actually hitting the target today!)

Lanny's patience does not encompass the personality of my wife Annabelle. Annabelle thrives on conflict and will pay ALL the money to those who play her game! Lanny is feeling better and proved it by consistantly hitting the black with his Crossman 1377. Annabelle was shooting 1/2" groups. Watch Out! Michael was spoiling himself with the Daisy 717. Ric circled the black in his targets.

Michael was experimenting with targets at 47'. Amazing accuracy from the Crosman 1377 and Daisy 717 from a benchrest position and still in the black in the offhand! Ric tore out the bull's on 11 targets in his office. I'll be heading to the clubhouse tomorrow.

Lanny has contracted the Flu. That's why he has not been shooting. Get well soon. Lanny is a formidable opponent. Ordered a 717 for Annabelle. Also ordered another 717 for Michael. Michael's 1377 locked up today. He sprayed WD40 in the chamber and it came back to normal. Lanny's 747 was stuck in the black all day long. Ric is eyeballing a Winchester Mossy Oak 1000 fps rifle. The arsenal and membership are both growing.

Quick update: Rob, author of Targetmaster 2.0 @ http://www.ammoman.com/targets , signed our guestbook from the state of New Hampshire. Welcome! All three lanes were open. Osama Bin Laden targets (fromTargetMaster 2.0 http://www.ammoman.com/targets ) were decimated by the club. The Daisy 717 still has the trigger!

Ric stayed at home nursing a sprained ankle from twisting it in the attic to put TFC (The Filipino Channell) into other rooms in and outside the house for Annabelle(Wimp!). I ordered and downloaded Targetmaster 2.0 from http://www.ammoman.com/targets and am currently shooting at many of these. Highly recommended for only 8 bucks (12 bucks to get the CD-ROM snail mailed to your door. I plan on going to the clubhouse today or tomorrow to demonstrate these new targets.

The firing line did not start until later in the evening. Ed came over and was immediately infected by the incureable AG (AirGun) virus. Ed was madly plinking with the Crosman 1377 when Lanny came over to demonstrate the "Superior" Avanti 747. I still say they are equal in accuracy, but the 747 has a smoother and lighter trigger pull.

Michael and Perlita shot over a thousand rounds on Sunday. Imagine the cost of a thousand cartridges (even reloads). There is a lot to be said about the economy of airgunning.

All lanes have been busy all day. Big 5 Sporting goods have been selling out left and right of all Crosman 1377's due to high demand from the club's current and new members. Lanny says his Avanti 747 has been adjusted to a hair trigger and cannot miss the black. Several hundred LEAD rounds have already gone downrange - more to come.Stop on by Forex and join the action. Michael is no longer bored at work.

Honorio caught the airgun virus and picked up a Crossman 1377 at Big 5 for only 49 bucks. Lanny was not about to be one-upped and rushed out and got his 1377 too! All firing lines were up and running in the clubhouse today (lead pellets only!). Michael cancelled his order on the Avanti 747. It was on backorder too long. Shooting is contagious and there is NO vaccine to cure it!

Fired a couple hundred rounds into my office trap (10' from my computer) from my 717 and enjoyed it as I would on the range. Also, added more links and action to the website. Some have already reported using our club website as their homepage. For those wanting to find directions to the "Clubhouse" type the address you are coming from on the bottom of the page. There is also a Yahoo! search engine bar on the top of the page for your research.

Went to Turners ( http://www.turners.com ) outdoor sports in San Marcos, Ca.. Small assortment of high end sporter air rifles and low end pistols. They have a very large assortment of rifles, pistols, and shotguns for those interested in conventional weapons. Lanny got his Avanti 747 today. Michael is mildly upset (pi$$ed the f&@# off) that Lanny's arrived before his. Adjustable trigger, Lothar Walther rifled barrell, and a slighter weight than the similar Daisy 717 make this a refined match pistol. To ruin the introduction of this fine weapon, Lanny ordered a tin of wimpy non-lead pellets in our club of ADULT TARGET SHOOTERS! Lanny, NO forgiveness for this sin. GET SOME REAL LEAD PELLETS! Wimp non-lead pellets should be donated to the Sierra Club or the Brownie Scouts!!! (Lanny was shooting through the same hole by the end of the day. The 747 is clearly the King of air Pistol target shooting!)

Lanny and Michael anxiously await the arrival of their 747's. Ric was using the famous "Pepper Spray" method of arriving at the bullseye. We all were practicing dry shooting (we forgot to cock our weapons). There are now 4 Beeman pellet traps in inventory, all with sillouettes (some slightly wounded!). Ric plans on making a trip to Turners outdoor sports in San Marcos tomorrow to check out their inventory.

Annabelle just revealed that she has had a Daisy Powerline 41. Perlita's 717 arrived and Michael and Lanny made sure the sights were aligned and the barrel was free from obstructions (O.K. They fired several hundred rounds downrange!). Michael called Daisy and Daisy had no record of him ordering the 747. Michael also sprayed WD40 on Lanny's palms to make sure Lanny did not have a death grip on Perlita's 717.

The big match! Sonny, Myn, Michael and Perlita spit a couple thousand rounds down range. The 1000 fps Gamo Rifle was dismembering appendages on the sillouettes in the pellet traps. A special pellet stop was designed for the Gamo. The Gamo tore that up too! I saw a trap on Beemans website that can handle a 22LR. We're a new club and are learning and enjoying every day!

Perlita has accused Michael of "fixing" the sights on his Crosman 1377. Perlita says we're all in trouble when her Daisy 717 arrives. The gang is practicing for Sunday's shootout. Lanny is "hogging the range" again. The 1377 is now SuperGlued to his hand. The weather should be moderate tomorrow in National City. I think their should be a special "Shoot the Eye out of the Bangus" contest!

The guestbook is up and running. Perlita is hoping her Daisy 717 arrives in time for Sunday. The rest of us hope it doesn't (she might out shoot us!). Alot of new weapons are showing up in the club. Beemans, Gamos, Daisys, & Crosmans, too name a few. Sunday at Michaels there will be sillouette shooting. Come one, Come all!

After reading the first guestbook entry it was discovered that Lenny misspells his first name. We will now refer to him as Lanny (it's a good thing he shoots better than he spells). Perlita called Daisy today. Michael's Avanti 747 was shipped on Monday. When it arrives, we'll all make sure Michael is the last one to fire the pistol. After all we're his friends and want to make sure it works right before he fires it!

We are already getting hits on our club website. I talked with Michael today. It seems that Lenny has Michael's Crosman 1377 "glued" to his palm. Lenny, who is mildly offbeat, seems to think that if he continously fires rounds at the target the pistol will automatically release from his palm. We anxiously await to observe Rusty's prowess and marksmanship with his new Crosman 1377.

After a spaghetti lunch with fresh pan de sal (Phillipine dinner rolls), to inaugurate our club website, the gang started rolling in. Rusty (if you need a home, this is the wizard) stopped in to show us his new Crosman 1377 pistol. The Crosman 1377 pistol and Daisy Powerline 717 pistol have rapidly become the choice of club members. We all like the trigger on the Daisy 717, but prefer the power range of the Crosman 1377. Both pistols show equality of accuracy. Lenny from Mabuhay Video came over late in the afternoon to display his prowess. A dozen or so other new members stopped in and destroyed some baker targets. Lennie (best travel agent in the west) dropped by for several practice shots. Lenny and Perlita are waiting for the Daisy 717 they ordered. Butch ordered an Avanti 747. We're all waiting to put that one to the litmus test. Untill next time:
