			Why should I volunteer? When parents get involved, there is a positive impact on the children, the parents, and the school.  Research has shown the following benefits to: Students -  better grades and test scores -  better social skills -  positive attitude toward school -  higher number of completed homework assignments Parents -  increased confidence at school -  increased confidence in helping their children learn -  better teacher/parent relationships -  more likely to pursue their own education School -  better teacher morale -  better community reputation -  higher rating of teachers by parents.
		Our request! We only ask two hours of your time for the ENTIRE school year.  Some people want to give more and that is fantastic.  However, we realize that is not for everyone.  We have opportiuities for any time of the day, any day of the week, and at home or school.  You do not need to be a PTA member to volunteer!
		How do I volunteer? Easy!  Fill out the attached form and turn it in to your child's teacher or the school office.
