#asperger is an IRC channel for people with autism or Asperger's.
IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It allows groups of people to communicate with each other by typing. Everyone in an IRC channel sees the text typed by everyone else in the same channel. Many people feel more comfortable talking via their keyboard than talking face to face.
You can download a shareware IRC program from The mIRC Web Page. Other programs are available at different sites.
You will need to configure your IRC program to use a suitable server. The #asperger channel is hosted on the Starlink-IRC group of IRC servers. See The Starlink-IRC Web Site for the addresses of their IRC servers.
The #asperger channel is busiest around midnight GMT.
