City Express was the first Slovenian Courier company. It began delivering unwrapped packages in 1991 with 1 courier, 1 bike, and 1 guy guarding the phones. Life was much slower then with only two contracts. In a short time, they purchased their first car, an old Renault 4 “katrca” and business started to grow. The original katrca is now immortalised as a statue in the City Express gardens behind their Gregorciceva Street offices. How nice of them to treat the Renault 4 so well.
