Obo Bo: Picture Gallery

Obo Bo is my longest running character with the richest and deepest history.  About a year back I ran accross a webpage that listed various artists that would paint a character portrait for any RPG character for money.  I jumped at the chance and requisitioned six artists to draw Obo.  I got quite a bit of variation and artistic style.  Each one is uniquie, but draws upon the same mind set... I gave the same description and theme for the drawing to each artist.  I said that I want the drawing to have two characters on it, as Obo has two very distinct personalities.  The barbarian personality and the mage personality are always fighting for control of the body they share.  I wanted the picture to depict the internal struggle between these two powerful personalities and show the stengths and weaknesses of each.

After having given him too many revisions, the final draft shown above is an excellent depiction of the struggle between the two personalities.  I really thank Wess for his work here! The picture to the right was done by computer and shows Obo after he had completed the Test of High Sorcery on Krynn.  Done by none other than the infamous Raistlin himself.  Here he donns the Red Robes that advertise his claim to power.
