Text Box: Metrosexual Text Box: Why should people be called names by the why they dress? Metrosexual is a new term that people use to talk about a male who dresses nicely but isn’t gay. This means if you dress sharp and wear expensive clothes the stereotype is that you are gay.Metrosexual are overwhelming city-dwellers which means they wear Diesel, Banana Republic, Gap, and Express for men. They say that it is the best why to attract women by dressing nice. While some women want a man who dresses nice, other women are offended by men that dress nice they want a man who Text Box: looks like he does hard work. It also make, the women think the man is soft when they dress in very nice clothes .So how come there is a big problem with men who dress nice and everyone is stuck on them? What about women who don’t dress like a lady and wear baggie jeans and shirts an aren’t lesbians? Are they going to invent a name for them? Femasexual, maybe? Probably not because we as a nation are use to tough dressing men. We never look at women dressing like a man as a real big thing. As a society we are more against gay men then we are Text Box: against gay woman. So by using this new term Metrosexual we are not ending discrimination against gay men but are making it worse by creating a new word so that men who dress well don’t fell bad and won’t be called a fag.
