Welcome to week 3
This has been one horrendous week by any stretch of the imagination. America has been attacked on our own soil by who knows how many, or what foreign nations.
One can hardly even watch the tv these days without finding a few tears in someone's eyes. Much less their own. The scenes that I have been witnessing on tv shows me just how strong Americans are though. Those firefighters and policemen and even the general public volenteers are true heros in my book. How some people can watch this and endure what we have over the past several days and remain passive is more than this man can understand. I am not a violent person by nature, but there comes a time in everyone's life that they must stand strong for what they believe in. I believe in this country and our form of government. It may not be perfect, but I don't see any in the world that can even come close to being our rival in that area. 
I was very touched by all the ceremonies that I saw today by foreign governments and their people in honoring our dead, and our country. I believe that the world is behind us this time no matter how we choose to wage this war on terrorism. I still think it was a mistake not to go on in to Bahgdad and take Saddam Hussein when we had the chance. But that was then and this is now. We now have the chance to eradicate the terrorists in the world and the world is behind us. Even France, and Italy. What a shock that is. Imagine our allies agreeing with us for a change. Even the former Soviet Union is backing us. Most people probably don't know this, but Russia has sent a plane with specialists to us to help in New York. And even Russia had a ceremony Friday honoring us and our fallen comrades in the attack on the United States. Well, I guess I have written enough on this subject for now. I just wanted to air my thoughts on the subject. Thank you all for reading it.
