I wanted to customize my bike just to be a little different than everyone else. Here is the on going progress on the work I'm doing to my ride.
Modifications previously done:
Progressive rear shocks - 11 inch
Progressive front springs - lowered 2 inches
Mustang seat
Samson 2 inch Over/Under pipes
K&N filter
Cobra jet kit (kept original jets -
but used the Cobra needles)
Modifications in progress/planned
Install Harley fork lower sliders, FXST type
Install Harley 21 inch front wheel - spoke
Install matching calliper
Install rear wheel from '88 VT800 - spoke
Install 4 gal tank from Honda ACE - custom paint

I'm old school when it come to bikes. While there are some great bikes out there with modern mag wheels or cast/CNC wheels - my first love is spokes.
Even though Honda made a good bike with the VT1100C, I never cared much for the mag wheels.

So, time to do something about it...
Stock front -
no changes except internal Progressive springs, lowered two inches. Bought a pair of Showa fork lowers for a Harley FXST. I'll be test fitting them at my brother's house soon - pics to come.
Basically a stock rear end, except for the new Progressive 11 inch shocks, lowers the rear very nicely. Recently bought a new wheel from a Honda '88 VT800, will swap it in for a test fit.
Pictures to come.

Also, due to a past experiment with different signals, the holes in the fender will be filled in. And the signals, they sit at a funny angle due to a neighbor hitting my bike with his car (I live in an apartment) Much of the damage has been fixed already.
