An early 1930's Elgin? We believe that is what this bike is.  It was my Dad's.  He said he had it when he was a teenager, which would have been in the late 1930's.  The tires are 28" x 1 1/2".  The seat is leather covered and the frame is lugged steel.  Dad painted over the original paint when he was a kid, so there are no identifying decals or headbadge.
