Kulture Shock - A small convention in Norwich with
Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred. Notice the interesting skin magazines
on the shelf behind us.
Sea Front at Cromer - The Brigadier once mistook a
universe of anti-matter for this place, and Paul Cornell used it as an allegory
for Purgatory.
Me at Cromer - This one looks better because it's not
backlit.
Pavilion at Cromer - You get the idea.
The Old Riley - A cousin of mine restored this 1920s
roadster.
Beside the Queen Victoria Memorial... - August 1st,
1999 was the Queen Monther's 99th birthday.
Outside Buckingham Palace... - There was a special
Changing of the Guard.
Rather nice weather, I thought - There were lots of
soldiers, and a brass band.
I didn't actually see any Royals - Just more soldiers,
and more tourists.
There were some big guns - Letting off a salute in
Hyde Park.
It was a good way of spending the day - But a bit hard
on the feet.
St James' Park - Near Buckingham Palace.
The Globe - The reconstruction of Shakespeare's theatre. I went
to see Julius Caesar.
The Fitzroy Tavern
The Tav as it appeared in the BBV video 'Cyberon'.
Grosvenor Gardens - My brother, feeding pigeons in
1992.
Cutty Sark - Me, squinting in sunlight in 1992.
No. 1 Buckingham Place - London location for The
Prisoner.
Highgate Cemetery - Karl Marx's gravestone. A
number of Middle Eastern revolutionaries are buried nearby.
Clifton Suspension Bridge - Bristol landmark.
Lookout from Cheddar Gorge - Glastonbury Tor is near-invisible
on the left.
Cheddar Gorge - Where the streets are paved with cheese...
no, wait.
Glastonbury Tor - And a few stunned sheep.
Eclipse at St Michael's Mount - Obscured by big rainy
things.
Imminent Eclipse - None of my pictures of complete
darkness turned out - this is as close as I got.
Estuary in North Wales - Mud and slate, in fact.
But isn't it lovely.
Harlech Castle - I didn't even leave the train.
Honestly, it all happened so fast. Next time, though.
Ffestiniog Narrowgauge Railroad - You can't come up
without a ticket.
And again... - I got coal dust in my eyes. That kind
of sucked.
Gloating over the TARDIS - In Llangollen. I know how to pronounce
it as well.
The River Derwent - Possibly the best of the lot.
Part of a long hike through the Lake District.
More Stunned Sheep - They haven't done much since Ancient
Time. More of the Lake District.
Bassenthwaite and Skiddaw - Ten miles further on I
was pretty knackered, but the scenery improved even more.
