| Mysticism of the Rose Croix |
| Dear Friend... To those who know me well, you might wonder why I disapear each night before bed to study, meditate and pray, and quite regularly, why I head off to my "meditation group" in the city...To know me more intimately however, I would like to introduce to you the source of my inspiration and motivation, that being the Mysticism of the Rose Croix. I am a Rosicrucian Student, experienced as a neophyte but not yet a master. The study of Rosicrucian Philosophy, and the practice of Mysticism has brought me to the source of my being. I continually experience the growing depths of true self, and have been blessed with knowledge of self, the universe and of God. This knowledge is not speculative nor is it the belief or dogma of others, but true experiential knowledge. I have no desire to prove the efficacy of the R+C path to you, for my life should bear witness to this ...by the fruits of my labor... Through perseverence with the techniques of the Rosicrucians, I am convinced of their validity through in the improvements to my health, an increasing and sustainable happiness and the sense of peace I have attained. In real and practical terms: -My thinking is clearer and I have become acutely aware of the world in which I live -My feelings are more positive, and when they are negative I listen to their message and move on -My reading, comprehension and vocabulary have grown -I feel a real connection to all people and things, I see a simple truth behind life -I have learned to listen to my intuition and psychic impressions -My understanding of people has improved -I have become more tolerant and understanding of difference -I love and accept my humanity, that is I am perfect (perfectly human, I make mistakes and can forgive myself) -I am not afraid of life, death nor taxes (nor Church, State, Old age etc....) -I have increased my speed of learning new things (eg the French Language) -I have reconcilled my spirituality with my lifestyle -I am confident, I am capable and I participate in the writing of my life -I no longer believe in God, I am beginning to KNOW God, (yet I know nothing) If you have read this and feel a need for something similar in your Life, then I commend to you the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC. Be assured it is not a religion or cult, you can if you wish, pursue their entire system of study privately at home, or as I have done, join with other seekers on the path through Lodge affiliation. What started out for me as an interest in Templarism has transformed into something far greater, studying with the Rosicrucians has satisfied a great need for me. I am beginning to find answers to the bigger questions of life and in the process, found a lost part of Self. May Light, Life and Love Inspire you to grow! Ric Thomas, FRC |
