Let the Visionary See and the Wise man Know. The Mystic Path, walked by few and crossed by many is often unrecognisable. It isn't until the seeker for the light of understanding stumbles over its portal in the outer darkness, that she or he can realise that such a path exists. Many great faiths, schools and philosophies have alluded to it, but by the very nature of the path it cannot be disclosed to the massess. For such a path leads to certain powers, riches, privilages and mysteries that can be hardly comprehended less be explained. Naturally, this path demands increasing levels of personal responsibility being taken, the development of the self, the mastery of ego and the attunement and harmonisation with the All. For in the knowledge of self one, has the portal at their disposal to journey into the great temple of Initiation. Behind whose doors, veils and secret chambers, the mysteries are slowly revealed. The Mystic ascends and progresses on the Path that will one day lead to the Ultimate goal of human existance, Illumination. Once on the path, the seeker finds light, dim at first, but ever growing in intensity. Kindling the low flame the seeker finds opportunities to strengthen and increase their light. Occasionally, they find in life a similar light, who with theirs forms even greater light, until ultimately, without fanfare, they are absorbed and integrated into Absolute Light. Consumed, they loose all identity of the light they possess and become the LIGHT, in all its radiance, warmth and beauty. Having been absorbed into the great I AM, Being, or Light, their consciousness is impressed with a deep sense of the presence of this principle or energy that resides within. And as they return to the outer darkness, they realise that they have found a part of the Divine Within themselves. As they return daily and strengthen the tie seeking light, solice and giving thanks, they realise fully the meaning of the great saying "I AM, the way the truth and the Life". |
