Bad Things that Can Happen To Your Dorm Room

Yes, there is a story that goes with these photos.  One evening, someone went into my room while I was elsewhere in the building.  I left the door unlocked.  They took the vent that was in the bottom of my door, and turned it around.  The screws that held the vent in place now faced out into the hallway.

So the next evening, I went to work for six or seven hours.  After I left, they dropped the vent out of the door, and let themselves in.  These still unknown breakin artists then began to dispense newspaper.  They had collected it over several days, from several different floors.  They proceeded to take it and crumple the individual sheets, and then scattered them.  This took approximately six hous, from what I've heard.  And then, they put the vent back onto the door.  The room looked something like this when I came home, about half an hour after they had finished.

For a frame of reference, the bottom of the bed in the background is almost 6 feet off of the ground.  And it is about 10 feet from the door to the bed.  Not seen, but covered in this photo are the computer, the two desks, a console record player, the tv, an easy chair, and the floor.

Clean up was  a massive task undertaken by me, myself, and I.  I simply threw newspaper out into the hall for a few hours.  Then, a friend and I got an idea.  So we filled an elevator, or two, to the top with newspapers and listened for the crowd reaction.  It was hilarious.  Shame we couldn't get pics of that
