Below are added pictures from my meanderings from Covington to Franklinton, Southeast La.
Found off La.40 (one fine mc road), this cottage is the perfect example of the pioneer home of the southeast Louisiana.
Complete with the Outhouse. Stablizing upon the thrown must have been an adventure.
Next to the Pearl, the Boga Chitto, is the largest river around, reaching far into Mississippi. I've followed it.
I ducked down a gravel road off of La.40, between it and the Boga Chitto. Look at that water color. It is an old sand pit. Something makes the water that different color.
Found on the northeast side of Covington, this is just a hint of how beautiful the Covington area is.
Leaving Covington on 21north, I spied this beauty behind thick foliage and a fence. The picture is a miracle. The 5 other shots I took had obstructions and were no good.
Early morning rush hour traffic in Southeast Louisiana. No helicopter report today.
