Yes, there are the big time landings with all the supplies an angler or camper would need. Hwy 4, east of Jonesborro. I was told by a friend from the area to see the 40 pound Bass in the aquarium. Come on Andre, really?
I rode past this mail box, turned around and went back, got off the bike, pulled the camera out of the saddlebags and started to shoot when this big old boy came up with his 2 kids, all on a Honda 4-wheeler.
He was kinda frowning and I explained that I had stopped to take a picture of his mailbox. Of course that immediately made a less than great impression on him.
I kinda felt stupid, too. But, I made like it was a great original idea, failing to mention that this idea is as common as corn and
I only stopped because I hadn't shot anything yet that morning and felt a per mile need to do so. So I actually asked him if it was all right if I shot, I mean, took a picture of his mailbox, to which he explained that he was just coming to see what I was doing as he had seen me turn around and all.
Well, I took the picture and saw 2 or 3 more just like it before the day was over, but damn if I stopped. They might have  asked for royalties or broken my camera if  their mood had been right. I know  I look like I'm from Hollywood and all and might be doing a production about plow themed mailboxes. Forgot to tell you, I asked him if it had ever been  hit.  He replied that it had been, many times. I replied that I bet they remembered hitting it. He shrugged, saying, that mostly it was people waving that hit it.
I just take pictures of the bike for framing purposes. Top left is the road out of Cloud Crossing. White because it is ocean shell. Its a low area and evidently it was a cheap substitute for limestone.  Top right, wild flowers still hanging in there in June.
A little lake down the road from the park. Up on another levee. Stopped to look down at some little streams I had seen in the corner of my eye as I putt putted by. You have to stop. I would have missed another great view.
There's nothing like losing that "Most Supid Person Around" notoriety.
At least I didn't hit it Waving! I did wave carefully as I putted off. I could see relief in his eyes as I cleared his mailbox.
wow! that was bright, woke me up.
Sign next to a large church complex on the road to a big boat launch saying that Jesus said to follow him and he would make you "fishers of men". Sounds like if you do that you better enlargen the "live bay" on the boat. Stuffed and mounted?
POSTED..Hunting Club

Hope they aren't "hunters of men".
View from my easy chair after ride.
I'm not telling you which site it was.
