This program can be customized to meet all organization badge and patch requirements.

Girl Scout Horse Lover. For those scouts who have a love for horses. This program is geared towward safety and the beginnings of horse knowledge. On the agenda are things such as learning to groom, lead, colors and markings and the first steps to riding.

Girl Scout Horseback Rider. Scouts will learn stable and horse handling safety, "hands on" leading, grooming and tacking, proper mount and dismout, stop-start-steer, the four natural aids, reverses and circles, and the most exciting part...trotting!

Love-Hug-Groom. Designed especially for Daisies and Brownies. Scouts will learn safety around horses, the how why and "hands on" of grooming and leading. Each participant then gets to climb atop their mount for a lead line ride.
