RIDIN DIRTY CHAMILLIONAIRE

ridin dirty chamillionaire

Ridin' is the second single from Chamillionaire's album, The Sound of Revenge. The track features Krayzie Bone of the rap group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

The lyrics concern racial profiling, police brutality as well as the stereotyping of Black Americans driving a vehicle containing contraband ("riding dirty"). The music video attempts to create a sense of the police abusing their powers despite the singer admiting to various lesser crimes including driving under the influence. It has wrestling scenes to show how the police allegedly treat suspects. The video also has cameo appearances by Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Tom Lister Jr. , Play-N-Skillz, Chingo Bling, OG Ron C, and Chamillionaire's younger brother Rasaq. YouTube - Ridin(dirty).

Ridin' was recently nominated for "Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group" at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards. It was also nominated for Best Rap Song.
