Mega Man 3: Complete Stage Robot Chart

R. I. P. Games: Ian Wilkinson

March 11, 2004

Legend:

***VARIABLES***

Robot=Descriptive name for a robot.

Attack Type=the type of attack associated with that particular robot.

Found=where that particular robot can be located.

P, H, T, SH, SP, M, SN, N, and G=Short names for each weapon.

***ATTACK TYPE***

C=the robot attacks you by colliding into you.

R=the robot produces a never-ending stream of robots that will attack you.

P=the robot fires a projectile at you to attack you.

X=the robot doesn’t attack you physically but controls the environment to attack you.

S=the robot destroys itself in an effort to attack you.

B=the robot drops something on you to attack you.

/=No attack (in the case of projectiles and objects), or in this case of “R/P” it means either attack.

***FOUND***

Letters=short form for the particular robot masters stage. Example: “H” is for Hard Man’s stage.

Numbers=these numbers represent the Dr. Wily stage.

(?)=the brackets represent the ghost stages and the “?” represents which ghost stage. NOTE: the ( ) are only for robots that don’t normally appear on that particular stage, but do in the ghost stages.

Robot Name=the robot/object acquires all the same locations as the robot named.

***ROBOTS***

Set up= EXAMPLE: #. Name (# or “o”) The first number is just the number assigned to it for reference reasons. The name is not the actual name given to the robot/object by Capcom, it’s just a name I created to describe the robot/object cause I didn’t know the real name. The number inside the brackets refers to the reference number of a particular robot/object that is associated with the object/robot. The “o” means that the robot/object is an object found on the stage. These aren’t ordinary objects but objects that can be attacked (but not necessarily destroyed).

***TABLE NUMBERS/SYMBOLS***

? =There is no possible way to find this information out. Since you can’t revisit stages in this game, weapons that you get from completing the stage can’t be used on robots/objects that only appear on that particular stage.

S=the spark shock has a special effect when you hit most robots. It causes that robot to be paralyzed.

! =These robots are hard to hit with certain weapons.

X=this weapon will not work on this robot/object.

P=passes right through the robot/object.

I=impossible to hit the robot/object with that particular weapon, so there is no way to tell if it would work or not.

(#)=this robot has a shield like device. # is the number of hits it takes to destroy the shield and the number outside the ( ) is the number to destroy the robot.
