***Review***

I bought the game for 6 bucks at a pawnshop for the hell of it, and I know my girlfriend was big on Disney games. I brought it home and the first time I sat down with the intent to beat the game I did. The game’s not long and there’s not a whole pile of secrets (to my knowledge) which is good because there’s no save or password options, but it’s bad cause you can conquer the whole game in a half hour or less. Also, they don’t really incorporate much from the movie in the game.

***Boss Strategies***

NOTE: Difficulty is out of 5, 5 being the most difficult.

Sea of Coral: The shark comes to one side of the screen (either top or bottom of that side). 3 fish come from behind the shark in your direction. Put the fish in bubbles and throw them at the shark 4 times.

Difficulty *

Sunken Ship: The barracudas come out of holes in the side of the ship. Lobsters fall from the ceiling. Put the lobsters in bubble form and send them flying at the barracudas. They each take 3 shots to kill.

Difficulty **

Sea of Ice: The walrus fires frozen fish at you, but also conches. Throw the conches out of the water to hit the walrus. Do this 4 times.

Difficulty *

Undersea Volcano: The sea horse orders the cannons to fire fish and sea urchins (I think that’s what they call the spiky things?) at you. Put the fish into bubbles and launch them at the seahorse. Do this 5 times.

Difficulty ***

Ursula’s Castle: Ursula fires eggs at you (are they eggs?) that hatch and unleash starfish, seahorses, fish or urchins. Bubble them up and fire them at Ursula’s head. Hit her 6 times.

Difficulty *****

Ursula: Fish come from either end of the screen and Ursula controls the current with the trident. Bubble the fish and throw them at Ursula. Hit her 7 times.

Difficulty ****

***Items***

Conch: Can be used to defeat enemies. Can be used to open treasure chests. It can also    be destroyed, revealing an artefact (pipe/fork). In order to destroy the conch you must drop it in a hole the exact size of the conch.

Mermaid Doll: 1 extra life.

Hearts: Increase health.

Pearls: Red ones increase your strength and green ones increase you range. For every interval of strength you gain, your range intervals start over again. The first red gem will enable you to put regular fish into bubbles in one try and give you the strength to knock over barrels. The second gem will enable you to push small bricks and to put larger enemies into bubbles. The third gem will enable you to move large bricks.

Artefacts: The fork and pipe give you points if you manage to defeat a stage without losing them.

Barrels: Can be knocked over to break open a treasure chest or once they’ve been moved they allow you access to other treasures. Requires at least one power interval. Knock them over by pressing “a” near them.

Rocks: Can be moved to allow access to certain treasures and can be used to break treasure chests. To move them press “a” right beside them. You’re going to need red gems to be able to push them.

***Ursula’s Castle Maze***

Go in the door with the glowing eyes. Go in the door with the glowing eyes. Go in the door under the ice. After that point there’s only one way to go.
