Students, the poor and cheap-asses have this problem with dentists. They might go to the dentist for a check-up. If they do, they're stupid, by definition. They can't foresee the obvious future. Option 1: Your teeth are fine. Option 2: You need extensive dental work.
Why are dentists so expensive? They can go to Hell in my opinion (and I am always right). Summary
Either they need dental work or they don't. Let's explore the two possibilities.
You will pay between $60 and $110 to be told you have nothing wrong with your teeth. Congratulations, you've wasted 10 minutes of your time and paid $660 per hour.
I say extensive, because nothing is simple in the world of dentistry. You still pay $110 for 10 minutes, but now find you have to make more appointments to come back. You ask about the price of the procedure and find out it will cost $1000s. This is money you don't have/don't want to spend. Hence, you leave the dentist and never go back.
It does not matter what condition your teeth are in. If you go to the dentist the only outcome is that you're $100 out of pocket. The only solution is to trick someone into giving you a job with a dental plan. You're going to get fired for gross incompetence. But if you're lucky, you'll be able to have a check up and get anything fixed for free before that happens.
Good luck!
